COUNSEL – INDEPENDENT CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER (CIO)

 Gaelen is the President of Morphet Family Wealth Advisors Ltd., a boutique family office advisory firm specializing in investment management and outsourced Chief Investment Officer (CIO) services. Prior to founding Morphet Family Wealth Advisors, Gaelen served as Chief Investment Officer of Cinnamon Investments, a single-family office now supported by her advisory firm. Her career in investment management spans several decades and includes senior leadership roles such as Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice-President at Sentry Investments, where she oversaw $18 billion in assets. She also held the position of Chief Investment Officer and Senior Vice-President at Empire Life Insurance Company. Gaelen currently serves as Board Chair of MCAN Financial Group and as an Advisory Board Member of CanFirst Real Estate Income Fund. Her previous board involvement includes the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) Foundation, the Ontario Science Centre, the North York General Hospital Foundation, and CMA Investco.
