In early June, we donned our Derby best and took part in Oakville’s Own The Stakes, the Oakville Hospital Foundation’s latest fundraising event, as a Paddock Party sponsor. It was an incredibly fun day at the races and a spectacular evening event that was successful in raising $615,000 for Halton Healthcare’s Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. The amazing success of the cause-within-a-cause campaign along with an anonymous match meant the $200,000 target to help fund a new ultrasound for OTMH’s diagnostic imaging department was met, plus nearly enough for a second. Thank you to the Oakville Hospital Foundation for such a terrific event, we loved being a part.
